Indian Shores Family Oasis: Heated Pool & Game Room, 5 Min to the Beach

A very clean and reasonably priced property in walking distance of local park and playground. We appreciated all the childproofing done at this property, especially the fenced in pool and alarms on the doors, as well as protectors on tables etc. We also appreciated the toys and slide area, our kids were able to get a lot of use out of that. It was nice to find a dog friendly property with a small fenced in yard (and firepit!) as well. There was a bit more traffic nearby than I had anticipated and not much of a front yard but being able to walk to the nearby park and playground largely made up for that. We had several unexpected inconveniences occur while here, including the house needing some electrical work and later a new pool heater, but Aval Experience was at least quite responsive and generally able to get these problems fixed as quickly as possible, and tried to make up for the unexpected inconveniences, all of which should now be resolved after their repairs.

This place is wonderful if you have small children. There’s so much to keep them entertained. Far more than is even included in their photos. The indoor slide was a huge hit with my 6 year old. The pool was clean and perfect temp. They had pop a shot, shuffleboard, mini pool, mini foosball, tv in every room…a toddler play area with a mat, swing and one of those soft block toys that form a couch. There were even puddle jumpers for little kids that needed them for the pool. They had everything you’d need if you were coming from out of town. We live locally, so didn’t need as much, but it was all there. We only had one question about the gate and they came right over and addressed it. Laundry room was so helpful as we were there for a longer stay. House was very clean. It’s walking distance to one of our favorite local parks. If you are planning to go to the beach, it’s a 5 min drive. We’d definitely stay again. Great experience!

The adults thoroughly enjoyed the place, and the kids absolutely LOVED it! The location is great, the beach is just a short drive away, and there’s a beautiful park right outside the front door. The pool was perfect for all ages, and it came stocked with plenty of pool toys. Beach chairs, an umbrella, and sand toys were also provided, making beach trips extremely easy. There are plenty of sleeping spaces, and the kids, especially, loved the indoor slide—they went down it every morning as soon as they woke up! The kitchen had everything we needed, plus a grill out back. The layout of the house is a little unusual at first, but you get used to it quickly. There’s even a Peloton, which was great for exercising indoors and avoiding the Florida heat. If you have kids, you won’t find a more entertaining option in the area. We had a wonderful vacation, and Aval Experience was a fantastic host!

This house is great for little kids. They really took the time to child-proof everything from table corners, closing little fingers in doors, cabinet locks, etc. My kids really loved the yellow slide and the bunk beds! This is the main reason we booked this house. The host was easy to communicate with and was very kind and helpful. They even left us roses because our arrival was on Valentine's Day. Very sweet. Overall the stay was good, but I think the price is a little high for the quality of what you are getting here. If your main goal is for your kids to be safe and happy, then this is the place for you. They had a blast. Also right across the street from a city park with a nice playground area.

This place was an absolute paradise for the kids — nonstop fun from morning till night! There were so many activities to keep them entertained, from games to open spaces to explore. Plus, there’s a beautiful park just a quick 2-minute walk away, which was perfect for afternoon strolls and letting the little ones run wild. The pool was sparkling clean and a total hit with the whole family. The neighborhood itself was peaceful and quiet — a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend for families looking to relax and recharge while keeping the kids happy!

Our stay was wonderful! Our boys ages 2 & 4 had a plethora of things to do both in and outside! All the child proofing was for sure a bonus! Close to many beaches, lots of delicious food, and very close to gas station & supermarket. Neighborhood was quiet and the park was a few minute walk! Overall if we ever vacationed in the area again, would be a no brainer to stay there! Forcing the kids inside after a long pool day wasn’t even a task with the slide and toys inside! The host was friendly and quickly responsive! Not that we needed much as it came with everything! 5 star stay all around! Highly recommend if traveling with littles.

The kids LOVED IT. The whole house was kid designed. It was helpful for the adults because the kids had so much to do. Where the house is located is on a very busy road. Walking the dogs was somewhat frustrating because they weren't wanting to go out front to walk because of loud trucks and cars. Early morning was the best for them. There was only one bath tub for all of us to share and the other bathroom was only a half bath. The beds were very comfortable and clean. All and all, everyone had a great time and the kids will be forever grateful for that indoor slide. That was the highlight of the whole trip for them.

Nice house and pool! Spent the week with my family (littles included) and a few friends. The area was quiet and easy to navigate. I appreciated the easy instructions and quick access to the house. Thankfully we didn’t need any additional support during the week but some of the listed amenities were not available during our stay - pool alarm or canopy. There was little shade in the backyard during the day making it difficult to find a place to get out of the sun while staying outside. The inside kids area and toys were a big hit though. Beds were plentiful and comfortable. Overall a good stay!

Beautiful home with everything you need, close to many beaches, parks, restauraunts, airport, grocery stores, and shopping centers. This house is very kid friendly and the neighborhood is quiet and easy to locate. The home itself is super clean has everything you will need while you are there and very comfterable. I highly recomend staying here. Our family very much enjoyed our stay. Looks exactly like the pictures listed and everything was working properly we had no inconviniences and have nothing negative to say about this home or host. Do yourself a favor and book your stay 😊

we really enjoyed our time. very proactive. very kids friendly which was the best part. had everything you need if you was going to the beach. wagon chairs beach towel. I want to also point out that the host was amazing at communicating and was very quick at taking care of a wasp that was there and had stung my granddaughter they were at the house with the wasp killer within 15 minutes so it did not happen again to anyone so I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great host they were very friendly and above and beyond willing to help thank you

The house was just as listed and had all the equipment listed. It was in a-great area and our host was sort-of attentive when we encountered an issue with the plumbing. Poop water had backed up into the shower, sinks and both toilets so basically from 7pm Saturday night until 10 am Sunday morning we had no working toilets and the washer backed up with a load of clothes inside which still stunk after taking it home and washing it. Not once was offered a discount on our stay or a future stay or even an apology.

Johan’s place was perfect and just what we needed for 2 families temporarily displaced by hurricane Helene. Our homes flooded and we needed a clean safe place to recharge and get cold air and hot showers. It is very kid friendly and very kid safe. Nice big TV’s in every room, beautiful backyard. We had a 10 month old, 3 year old, 4 year old, and 13 year old. They all had something to do while our husbands went and cleared our house of flood waters. I highly recommend this home for anyone who has kids.

A great home to stay with young kids. Our boys LOVED the indoor slide and all of the toys that they provided. We lived out back in the pool are which was able to accommodate our whole family including the dogs with a fenced in yard. The extra safety features were amazing to have as you knew your kids were safe inside the home. The home itself is a little small and an extra bathroom with shower would have been great, but we were able to make the home work with our family and Grandparents.

Had an amazing stay! The location was perfect for us! The neighborhood was quiet at all times. It was perfect there was the city park located across the street and the bike path was right there as well! The pool was the perfect temperature for our winter stay. The game room was also a highlight. There were plenty of dishes, towels, and soaps for the 12 days my family stayed. The host was very responsive and so very nice! Would stay here again if we are ever in the area in the future!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect. The kids loved the bunk beds and the indoor slide was a huge hit! The pool was amazing, we spent a lot of time outside swimming and enjoying the fire pit. The house was walking distance to a very nice park and an easy drive to beaches, restaurants, and grocery stores. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone with kids! Johan and Mia were amazing hosts. The place was amazing and literally everything you could think of they had for you. It was nice to not have to rush to the store right away. The beds were also super comfy. Also if you have kids this is the place to be. My kids called it the fun house and didn’t want to leave. The pool is amazing and so relaxing and the slide and swing were a huge hit. Thank you Johan for hosting us.

My family of 6 had a fabulous stay. It was the perfect place to unwind and unplug. The baby proofing was exactly what we needed to make our vacation completely stress free. The kitchen was well appointed and the grocery store was right around the corner. We were going to book another trip for spring break but it’s not available! Don’t sleep on this one, you won’t be disappointed.

Johan had the house set up as pictured. The kids loved all the games, pool toys, game room, and the slide! It was just what we needed with the one and two year olds. The park was within walking distance. Porta crib and stroller were nice to have. The locked fence around the pool was perfect so we could play outside without stressing out about toddlers ending up in the pool.

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The kids obviously enjoyed the slide and swing, as well as all of the toys. We all enjoyed the pool and outdoor area as well. The main area was a bit smaller than we expected, but it was cozy and clean. It was so nice to have plenty of towels and beach gear there and ready to use! The easy checkout was also very much appreciated.

An ideal stay for a family/families with small kids. Lots of toys, pool safety gear and precautions, beach chairs, wagon, and toys, and basic childproofing of the house. Helped us feel at ease without spending a lot of time baby proofing the house or bringing extra gear. The Host was extremely responsive and helpful regardless of time. Recommended!

If you've got kids of any age, this place should be your go to! The outdoor space was so much fun and my youngest was so excited with all the games and toys and the slide inside. We were super close to the beach and great places to eat. The indoor game room and kids space gave us so much to do on the rainy days. This was a great place!

My family of 9 and my dog visited this past week. I can’t say enough about how great this place was! From the location to the amenities to the space, the pool, and everything else, it made for a stress-free perfect week! We’ve already saved all of the details, and we cannot wait to visit again in the future. 10/10 recommend!!

the pictures make the place look bigger, the pool was smaller, bedroom was tight, one of the bunks made noise all night whenever someone moved. ice machine didn't work, beach chairs were broken, flooring was coming apart. it was clean and great for a toddler but way smaller than it looks

This place was fun for all ages! Our toddlers had a blast and the teens and preteens enjoyed the pool with the volleyball net! The linens were all very clean along with the rest of the house. It would be nice to have a second full bath but it all works out. The slide was a huge hit!

My family and I had a great stay. Plenty of room for your family, safe for the little one and built for fun. My children had a time in the pool and in the game room. Trips to the beach were a breeze and it all in all it was a fantastic stay. We will be back! Great Spot!

Thank you so much! This was the perfect Airbnb for our family! We had 5 kids ranging in age from 11-1.5 years old and there was everything for all of them! It’s well stocked with all the amenities we needed! The pool was amazing it was so warm and super comfortable!

If you have children and want to be close to the beach but also close to the stores then this is the place to go. The kids (baby, 4,6) had a blast on the slide and in the pool. They provide everything you could think of to entertain children. We had a wonderful time.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Johan’s place. It is the perfect place for families with young children! The heated gated pool was a hit the entire time we were there as well as the indoor slide and swing. We could not recommend this place enough!

An amazing first birthday for my son and family gathering. Very mindful of unthought of childproofing. Felt just like home and kids were occupied the whole time. Wish there was another shower and mosquitoes were a little bothersome, but still hands down 100%

Cost was more than what I would usually pay but 💯 worth it. Kids had an amazing time. Seems small when you arrive but you’ll find it is more than enough room when small kids are happy and There is so much outdoor space!

Overall a great stay to celebrate our anniversary. The location is great, near restaurants, and only 10 min drive to the beach. The best part of the home is the heated pool and outdoor area. Would definitely stay again

The house was great for the kids and adults! Lots of fun stuff to do at the house. The kids loved the slide inside the house and the game room can't be beat! Looking forward in returning when we are back in town.

Great stay, the pool was amazing and we had plenty of activities to choose from. Everything you could think of was kid proofed, we felt safe and loved that the pool had a little kid area.

The house is well situated near the beach and a public park. Everything was clean and the house has everything you need if you are traveling with small children.

Aval was very friendly and responsive. They were nice enough to accommodate our 3 dogs. It was clean and had a good amount of kitchen supplies for us to cook.
